Awards Policy
IMUNC believes in rewarding delegates who demonstrate remarkable performance throughout the conference.
Delegates demonstrate this through their speeches and position papers, eloquence and clarity in communicating their ideas, and diplomatic tact in representing and justifying their stance to the rest of the council, as well as their effort to build on these skills.
The list of awards that delegates are eligible for at IMUNC is as follows:

The Secretariat reserves all rights to withhold awards or make amendments to the awards policy without prior notice, especially in cases of misconduct. The Secretariat’s decision on awards is final and will not be subject to appeal.

* The Most Improved Delegate is only applicable to delegates in Beginner Committees. It is intended to encourage delegates with no prior MUN experience in their MUN journey. It will be given out to delegates demonstrating promising development of their MUN skills during the conference, but who have not been awarded another Delegate Award, except the Best Position Paper.
** The Best Newcomer Delegation only applies to delegations from institutions that did not participate in IMUNC 2023 and/or 2024. It is intended to recognise delegates from institutions new to MUN and IMUNC for their achievements.
